Swahili Village in Newark is set to debut its highly anticipated monthly event series, "Pamoja," in the fall of 2024. This exciting series will give fans a unique chance to connect with stars from the music, movie, and fashion industries. Held at 2 Center St, Newark, NJ, the event will transcend traditional meet-and-greet formats, offering attendees a more engaging experience through a podcast-style Q&A session.
"Pamoja," meaning "together" in Swahili, aims to create an intimate atmosphere where guests can enjoy great food and drinks while connecting with celebrities in a relaxed setting. Each ticket will include dinner, a personal photo with the guest stars, and the chance to engage in a thoughtful conversation, during which celebrities will share insights and answer audience questions.
The inaugural edition of Pamoja will be produced by Prime Music Partners, the team behind the streaming show Loud In Africa on Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video, along with Yellow Kudu, known for Netflix’s Never Late African Time podcast.
